The Perfect Newberg Picnic

If you’re looking for a quaint spot to have lunch in Newberg or for a place to pick up a picnic basket for a date, I know just the place. Perfect Picnics is located in the heart of Newberg and offers all this and more.

Perfect Picnics opened on Memorial Day and feeds customer’s appetite by serving lunch and dinner in their charming restaurant, offering catering services, and providing wonderful picnic or boxed lunches to take to a favorite Newberg (or beyond) destination.

Perfect Picnics is located within walking distance of George Fox University in a beautiful historic house across the street from the library. Customers can eat their lunch or dinner inside at a cozy table adjacent to shelves of unique picnic baskets, or enjoy their meal outside at one of the picnic tables that are dressed up with tablecloths and pepper plant centerpieces.

Meals can also be taken to go in either a boxed lunch or a romantic picnic basket for two (complete with linens and silverware).

Menu prices are quite reasonable and range from $6.25 for a warm bowl of soup to $8.25 for a gourmet sandwich. Or choose a combination plate of half a sandwich and soup or salad for only $8.25.

Perfect Picnics’ seasonal menu features American-Italian fare including appetizers like brie in puff pastry; soups; salads such as field greens with gorgonzola cheese, candied nuts, and apples in balsamic vinaigrette; or tempting sandwiches like the roast beef with herbed-blue cheese spread and fresh greens on a roll.

After only being open a few short months, Perfect Picnics has already begun to stand out as the perfect casual lunch spot in Newberg.

Perfect Picnics is located at 115 N. Washington Street and is open Thursday through Monday from 11a.m. to 7p.m.
